 AN INTRODUCTION TO

THERMOGRAPHY

This screening procedure uses infrared thermal cameras to measure temperature differences in the body which could help indicate the need for further clinical evaluation. A thermography screening assesses the health of the whole body including the oral cavity, thyroid, breast, abdomen and lower body as well as specific areas of concern. Thermograms can detect abnormalities of breast tissue, undiagnosed pain, inflammatory conditions, digestive disorders, and many other conditions. Thermography is non-invasive and radiation free making it a excellent option for routine health screenings. Most other traditional medical screenings such as Mammograms, ultrasounds, X-rays, MRIs usually focus on disease management, whereas thermography focuses on finding the problems before they turn into disease. Thermography is a health screening suitable for women, men and children of any age.

SunDrop Healing & Thermography is accredited by Professional Academy of Clinical Thermology (PACT). We use a high-resolution, ultra sensitive infrared thermal imaging camera that provides the highest standard of technology to maintain superior accuracy in every imagine we capture. To ensure the precision of each image, we calibrate our cameras and update our software yearly.

We always encourage the involvement of your practitioner or health care provider. However, no referrals are needed for our services.

The screening process

Step 1
Step 2
Step 3
Step 4

Step 5
Once the images are taken, they are electronically forwarded to our PACT (Professional Academy of Clinical Thermology) Board Certified physicians who will then interpret and digitally process the images. A full written report of the findings, along with your images will be sent to you in approximately 3-7 business days following your appointment. If you need your report sooner for an upcoming appointment this can be made available for an additional fee.
Step 6
Once you have received the digital thermographic report an online consultation will be scheduled with a Certified Thermographic technician for a full understanding of your findings. Following the consultation, the technician will schedule a comparison screening for 3, 6, or 12 months as recommended by the Board Certified physicians.
When you arrive to our office you will
meet with out certified Thermographic technician to go over the screening procedure. The screening will take place in a temperature controlled room with a screen between you and the technician for additional privacy. You will be instructed per the screening type what to disrobe and will be left for 15 minutes in order for your body to acclimate. Following the 15 minutes you will be instructed on how to position in front of the imaging system. The images will then be captured in real-time by an ultra-sensitive medical infrared camera.
